UFC 111 preview (video)

The UFC have released a preview video for UFC 111, which pits welterweight champion Georges St. Pierre against Dan Hardy.

One of the better cards of the year on paper, the event also features Frank Mir vs. Shane Carwin for the interim heavyweight title, and potentially the first shot at a returning Brock Lesnar.

The fight poster for the card has also been a source of some controversy due to the fact that a tattoo on Dan Hardy’s midsection has been removed on some of the posters.

The tattoo is a Tibetan mantra, which it is rumored was removed for use in China where the tattoo might have caused offense.

No official word from the UFC on that one, but either way the card should prove interesting.

Jon Fitch also rematches Thaigo Alves which will have implications for the future of the welterweight division down the line.
